Protect Yourself from Bank Scammers

Date:
April 22, 2026

Bank scammers are actively targeting local businesses and individuals, often using sophisticated phishing tactics that claim "suspicious activity" or "account freezes" to create panic. Their goal is to trick you into revealing sensitive information or giving them remote access to your accounts.

Stop & Verify

We will NEVER ask for your password, PIN, or a one-time password (OTP) to "verify" your identity.

Do NOT Download

We will never ask you to download software onto your phone or computer to "fix" an account issue. This is a common tactic to install malware or gain remote access to your accounts.

Call Back

If you get a suspicious message, hang up and contact us through your regular communication channels with us.

Remember these simple rules to stay safe...
